For the first time in the history of the survey EVP and Employer Brand has become the top strategic priority for members followed closely by Direct Sourcing and Building Talent Pools and Pipelines.
Technology remains a key priority for in-house recruiters with 65% now using an ATS (up from 59% last year) and Video interviewing continues to rise in popularity with half of all respondents using it (31% of respondents using it in 2016) and 45% of recruiters expect their use of video interviewing to rise again this year.
Perhaps unsurprisingly Apprenticeships have now become the top emerging talent programme up 9% from last year with work experience schemes also on the increase whereas graduate schemes have dropped 10% from last year’s survey.
