In a recent FIRM and Talentscape study looking at Talent Acquisition (TA) capability across all areas of the recruitment lifecycle one of the key findings was that an upskilling was required on both an individual and organisational level to meet the needs of today’s changing economy and
increasingly competitive external talent landscape.

TA teams need to move from reactive recruiting approaches to a more proactive and strategic business partnering model where they are able to influence and consult with the business effectively.

On the back of this the FIRM Academy has been born – supported by Talentscape we now have a range of courses and opportunities for in-house recruiters to conduct self-assessments, benchmark themselves against others and build capability across all areas of the Talent Acquisition life cycle.

The FIRM Recruitment Foundations

This course is designed specifically for new/ junior members of in-house recruitment teams who are keen to develop their capability across the entire recruitment lifecycle Delegates will be trained on each element of the recruitment lifecycle from the initial briefing meeting through to attraction, sourcing, screening and selection.

The primary focus of our FIRM Foundations course is give new in-house recruiters a thorough grounding in all aspects of the in-house recruitment lifecycle which in turn will increase the confidence, capability and credibility of the delegate on completion of the training.
