Having relaunched The FIRM Focus Groups for 2013 we are pleased to say that the first two scheduled filled up very quickly they were so popular!
The format is a round table sessions of 10-15 members looking at a particular topic in more detail. The sessions are run as workshops with all attendees sharing current practices – what’s working, what’s not, key challenges and best practice insights. The aim is for all to return to their businesses after the sessions having hopefully gleaned some inspiration and insight to help them with the topic in question.
As a result of specific requests we have scheduled to dicsuss how we engage with candidates, what is expected and what we could be doing. This Focus Group will be held on June 4th and is hosted by Jennifer Candee, SABMiller, London

The FIRM is delighted to announce that after 4 years of requests we are coming to Manchester. We will be running a ‘Building Resourcing Capability’ Conference on Friday 27th September 2013 at The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in Piccadilly
We will be following a similar format to the successful formats in the last few conferences. Using a multi-stream model we are structuring the day with a range of key note speakers, practical workshops and a round table discussion. This will give all attendees the opportunity to learn and the flexibility to choose which of the syndicate sessions/workshops they would most like to attend.
The day will give people the opportunity to gain insights into best practice and some practical ‘how to’ advice in some of the recruiting essentials that we often take for granted.
